Baccarat Banque Basics

Baccarat Banque or you can also find baccarat en banque is one more variant of a baccarat game, including the American baccarat and the baccarat chemin de fer. All of them share the same aim of achieving eight or nine points as close as possible.

A baccarat banque oval table can host up to ten players at a time, but there is an option for those players who were not  lucky enough to take a seat, to put stakes when the amount of the players' bets is not equal to that of the bank. A person who seats to the right of a croupier can go bank first, then a player to the other side of a croupier can go bank during the following coup, and so forth each player to the right passes the option of going bank to that player to the left side of the croupier in the alternate order. Actually any player can keep going bank for three times while losing each time, after that he or she won't be allowed to go bank any more in the baccarat banque.

To be on the safe side, remember the following distinctions of the baccarat banque clearly:
  • as a rule the shoe consists of three decks only, but it's possible that there can be two or four card packs;
  • a person who has put the biggest bet  will own the bank; the first player to sit at a baccarat table may be granted with the option of having the bank at first;
  • in the baccarat banque it's always a dealer who performs the functions of a dealer, that's why players can have bigger bets than when a player is a banker; a dealer can support the key baccarat drawing rules or deviate from them.
The main difference between the baccarat chemin de fer and the baccarat banque is that in the latter there is no option of passing on the shoe among players at a baccarat table.

The baccarat banque is rarely played in the US or Australia, it's most popular in Europe, nonetheless not all the European casinos provide players with the possibility of baccarat banque's playing.
